NEHI SMS Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

By opting into North East Housing Initiative’s (NEHI) SMS text messaging program, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Program Description

NEHI offers SMS text alerts to keep community members informed about:

  • Housing resources and support services
  • Appointment reminders and confirmations
  • Urgent updates related to NEHI programs

Participation is completely voluntary and offered as a convenience to our community.

2. Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you give NEHI permission to send you recurring text messages using an automated system. Your consent is not a condition of receiving NEHI services or support.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency will vary based on your involvement with NEHI programs, but generally will not exceed 4–6 messages per month unless otherwise stated.

4. Opt-Out Instructions

5. Charges and Carrier Fees

Standard message and data rates may apply. NEHI is not responsible for any charges billed by your mobile provider. Check with your carrier if you are unsure about your plan details.
